Our Inn is a traditional Bed & Breakfast.  This type of Inn exceeds health and safety standards of AirBnB's & VRBO's as it is authorized by the State of North Carolina, permitted by the Town of Mount Pleasant, and maintains compliance with food, lodging, and fire safety standards through periodic inspections by the Cabarrus Health Alliance and Cabarrus County Fire Services.  Our Inn is also different in that we do not add surprise surcharges yet we are required to charge and report taxes.

-Children under the age of 15 and pets are not allowed in the Inn. 

-Reservations must be secured with a debit or credit card before arrival through our website's booking system. We do not accept cash or checks. 

-Maximum of 2 guests per room. 

-Check-in is from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m., if you will be arriving between 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., please contact us to make late check-in arrangements. 
-Check-out is at 11 a.m.   Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate a late check-out

- During the booking step, you may add breakfast for an additional fee. Plated hot home-made breakfasts are served in the dining room promptly at 8:30 when added.

-First-night deposit will be required in order to secure your reservation and the remainder of the balance will be automatically charged to your credit card on the day of check-in.

-No smoking or vaping indoors or on the porch. The innkeeper will show you the designated smoking area.

-No kitchen access or back porch access (private residence and reserved for events.)

-Please notify us about any guests not registered on the room, no additional overnight guests 

-Please do not use spray perfume or cologne in the room or house as other guests may be allergic.

-If you move furniture inside or on porches that scrapes the floor, your card will be charged $100 to repair the damage.

-All rooms are located on the second floor, so unfortunately, this is not an accessible property and ability to go safely up stairs is a must. We apologize.

-Cancellation Policy: If guests fail to show up for a room they have booked, the first-night deposit is not refunded.  If guests want to cancel a reservation, they may request a refund (less the credit card fee paid) on their deposit by giving  72 hours' notice of cancellation by 3:00 PM of the date of their check-in date by contacting the Inn with a phone call to 865-313-5698.
